Nurses Now aged care nursing staff provide friendly, compassionate care and support to each resident. Assisting with each resident daily living needs, personal care and hygiene requirements with positive reinforcement.

Nurses Now have consistent employment available daily within the Aged Care healthcare sector throughout NSW’s Central Coast, Lake Macquarie, Newcastle, Port Stephens, Manning, Hunter Valley & Sydney Northshore regions.

Interested in employment placement? We have regular contract employment, known as placement, for AHPRA registered staff in locations right across Australia. Placement length can range from a number of days through to many months at a time. With accommodation and travel allowances provided, a great opportunity to utilise your nursing skills whilst travelling our picturesque countryside.

All nursing staff whom would like to be considered for work opportunity within the aged care sector must have the following legislative requirements:

  • Certificate III and/or Certificate IV in Aged Care with a minimum 12 months industry experience and current industry related employment within the nursing industry. As well as a current senior 1st aid certificate.
  • EN, EEN & RN nursing staff must have a current AHPRA registration
  • All employees working in Aged Care sites MUST have an Australian Police Service (Federal Police) or (National Police Clearance – From local Police Station) OR from a CrimTrac accredited agency NO older than 3 years.

Should you require a renewed Criminal Record Clearance, you can download an application form from the following AFP site AFP Application form. At time of AFP application, you must include photo ID. Alternatively, a current National Police Check from your local police station is valid.
